Length: Eight-weeks

This online entrepreneurship program comprised of four live and four self-directed courses offers an intensive learning experience that focuses on the creation, evaluation, development, and launch readiness of a new business or social enterprise. 

Participants join the program with a preliminary venture idea that they would like to work on. Using eight modules, the program uses associated work assignments to support the development of the new venture. 

Columbia promises participants will leave the program fully equipped with the tools and frameworks required to create and launch their new startup.

The eight-week online program will build entrepreneurial understanding from the ground-up. 

Participants will learn the common challenges faced by entrepreneurs as they build a new venture, how to assess the current market and position product offerings for competitive advantage, and ways to develop new products and sercies that will gain market traction quickly. 

Beyond the setting up of the business, enrollees will be taught about customer acquisition and retention and how to build the right team and culture for a successful launch and early-stage growth.

This program is targeted at those interested in creating and launching a new corporate or nonprofit venture and ideal for those with a new business idea already formed.
