The growing Paris Baguette chain announced a ton of promotions this week. The company said it has completed its C-suite shifts in preparation for a push to open 100 bakery cafes this year and another 150 franchise locactions.
Saeyong Park is transitioning from vice president of finance and accounting to chief financial officer. Park has been with the chain for nine years, and also worked with parent company SPC Group, based in Korea.
Nick Scaccio is also moving to the chief operating officer position after serving as vice president of revenue and strategic development, as well as vice president of operations.
Michelle Jagroop has taken the role of chief people officer. She was previously the vice president of human resources and training. Jagroop has been with the chain for five years and worked previously with Bowlero, Macy’s and Liz Claiborne.
Eric Galkin is now chief supply chain officer, after serving as vice president of supply chain management.
Cathy Chavenet is Paris Baguette’s new chief marketing officer. She served previously as SVP and head of marketing.
Sharon Pewitt has joined the team at Golden Chick as director of marketing. She previously worked with the chicken chain as a creative partner at The Loomis Agency for six years, and her prior experience includes serving as a brand manager for Raising Cane’s.
Former P.F. Chang’s CEO Damola Adamolekun has a new gig. Adamolekun has joined the New York-based private equity firm Garnett Station Partners as an operating partner. Adamolekun will help identify new investment opportunities and will work with the firm’s brands to “drive innovation, value and efficiency.”
Independent operator Patina Restaurant Group, which runs some 30 restaurants, catering and foodservice operations, on Friday named John Kolaski as president. Kolaski joins the company after more than 30 years in the industry, most recently serving as CEO of Los Angeles-based hospitality group and restaurant incubator K2 Restaurants, which he founded. He has also held leadership posts with SBE Entertainment, Montage Hotels and Resorts, and The Four Seasons. In his new role, Kolaski will oversee restaurants and catering operations in places such as Downtown Disney, Disney Springs, Walt Disney World, New York City, Los Angeles and Boston. Buffalo, N.Y.-based Patina Restaurant Group is a subsidiary of global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North.
Ryan Adams has been named director of restaurant operations across all concepts at Harrah’s Resort Southern California. Adams served previously as the senior stage manager at Disneyland, the multi-unit operations manager at Soboba Casino Resort in San Jacinto, and the director of beverage at Pechanga Resort Casino.
Tampa, Fla.-based Next Level Brands Hospitality has promoted Heather Rivas to the role of director of operations. She oversees the group’s restaurants, which include Forbici Modern Italian, Boulon Brasserie and Union New America.
